Aldi is bringing back their sell-out G&T ice lollies

This news will definitely brighten up your day...

Aldi Gin and tonic Popsicle

Gin lovers, rejoice - Aldi has announced they're bringing back their sell-out G&T ice lollies!

You might remember them from last year's frenzy, when Aldi announced they were launching their own boozy ice lollies ahead of the May Bank Holiday.

Of course they were a success with shoppers - no surprises there - and left quite a few obsessed with the boozy treats.

Well, a whole year has gone by and now they're back! The Gianni's Gin & Tonic Ice Popsicles are now available in Aldi stores, so you can consume your gin fix in ice cream form.

The popsicles come in a pack of four, and cost just £2.99 - which works out around 75p per ice cream.

The popsicles also come in three other flavours, including Prosecco & Peach Bellini

The Gianni's range also includes three more flavours of classic tipples that will surely take your fancy. There's Prosecco & Peach Bellini for the bubbles fans; Champagne & Orange Bucks Fizz for a classy affair; or Cosmopolitan (Vodka and Triple Sec) à la Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw.

If you're indulging in the refreshing treats, don't forget they're 4.5% ABV (4.7% ABV for the Cosmopolitan flavour), which is roughly the same percentage of alcohol as lager. This of course mean they can only be enjoyed by those aged 18 or over.

For the little ones in your family, Aldi have also launched coconut water ice lollies, made from refreshing coconut water.

The new Coco Loco Coconut Water Popsicles, which are vegan, cost £1.99 for a pack of four and come in plain or tropical flavours.

Julie Ashfield, from Aldi UK, said: 'Following the sell-out success of Aldi's alcoholic popsicle range last year, we are delighted to welcome them back in store.

'We are also excited to launch the new family-friendly Coco Loco popsicles as a treat for the whole family.'

See you at the checkouts but we'll keep our fingers crossed for sunshine in the meantime...
