Orange Smarties Easter eggs have been launched by chocolate brand Nestlé just in time for the Easter holidays thanks to high demand – so they’re selling fast!
After an overwhelming response Nestlé received when they launched giant tubes of Orange Smarties back in October 2017, the chocolate makers have decided to bring back the favourite and to also introduce a new range of affordable, cheap Easter eggs ready for the holiday rush.
As a limited edition product, tubes of orange coloured Smarties are now available in a number of stores. Not only are Orange Smarties tubes back, but Nestlé have also produced brand new orange themed Easter egg which includes an orange flavoured chocolate egg filled with Orange Smarties Mini Eggs inside – sounds good right?!
In a statement the company’s Marketing Director said: ‘Orange Smarties are so popular that we simply had to bring them back this season. People love their distinctive flavour and they are our number one consumer request. The giant tubes launched last autumn were sold out in some stores within a few weeks from the launch and we have been inundated with requests from people all over the country asking us whether they could still get hold of some.’

‘Orange Smarties are slightly more difficult to manufacture in high volume, given the different process and recipe required to get that orange-y taste but our experts have been hard at work to make it happen and we are really pleased that we can offer them again this spring.’
Orange Smarties fans took to Facebook to share their excitement over Nestlé’s latest release. ‘I need to have these in my life!’ wrote one excited Smarties fan, while another added, ‘Ooooohh gotta get me some!!’
Many other fans of the orange chocolate Smarties could be seen tagging friends and family online, requesting the Orange Smarties Easter eggs as their Easter egg this year.
Orange Smarties tubes and Orange Smarties Easter eggs – which are on sale for £4 – are only available in the UK and Ireland and we have a feeling these chocolaty treats will sell fast – so get down to your local supermarket now!
