We asked some of our favourite bloggers to share their pancakes – here’s what they made:
Jenny, a clumsy mummy who loves cakes, blogs about her latest creations at Mummy Mishaps. Her idea for this Black Forest pancake comes from childhood memories of eating cherry pancakes at the Little Chef! She added cocoa powder in place of some of the flour and then got layering. Get Jenny?s full recipe here.
This pancake is fit for a princess. Created by Jenny, from Jenny Eatwell’s Rhubarb & Ginger, she used a thick American pancake mix, piping it into a warm pan, then increasing the heat so that it cooked through. The petals were filled with a raspberry coulis and the centre decorated with gold glitter. Fresh raspberries around the petals and a little stem of fresh mint finished it off nicely. According to Jenny, the toughest part of this creation was getting it out of the pan in one piece!
