Every month we choose a different theme and this month it’s our favourite scary event – Halloween.
We’ve had so many great entries this month already! From sweet to savoury, we’ve had plenty of delicious Halloween-themed food pics sent in and there’s still time to enter yours. Amanda says: ‘This is my Halloween themed pizza – great fun to make, very effective by using healthy vegetables and most importantly the kids love it! A great way to get the children to eat some vegetables without them even realising. And the designs are endless!’

goodtoknow user Melissa Cannon made these impressive Halloween biscuits with her daughters. Melissa says: ‘This picture is of them with their first attempt at making Halloween cookies. They had so much fun making and decorating them. We have already eaten this batch so they will have to make some more for next week!’ – well done girls we love them!

We think these creepy sausage mummies made by goodtoknow user Alison Macdonald are very clever. Alison says: ‘I chose these because my kids think they look really cool and they always go down well at Halloween parties.’

goodtoknow user Emma Furniss made these Halloween cupcakes with her daughter. She said she wanted to display them on a cake stand but only had a pretty one so she covered it in a bin bag to make it more spooky – good idea!
We would love a slice of these moist pumpkin tray bake made by goodtoknow user Kirsty Domakin. She said she roasted the pumpkin and pureed it before adding to the mixture. The pumpkin decorations were handmade too from modelling paste – brilliant!
We love this spooky Barbie cake from goodtoknow user Celine Day. Celine says: ‘I’ve always wanted to make a doll cake but never had the chance. When Halloween came I thought I would put a twist on it and instead of doing a princess I would turn her into a witch. I really enjoyed making it and everyone liked it.’

Sausage mummies are definitely a popular choice. goodtoknow user Mandy Mason said that they were easy to make and were very scary too.

Jolisa says: ‘My favourite cake here is the bleeding hearts, which are red velvet cupcakes covered in homemade icing coloured to look like hearts with a homemade sweet cherry and raspberry sauce.’
