With the Olympics and the Queen’s Jubilee we’ve been very proud to be British this summer and goodtoknow user Jacqueline Craig‘s patriotic spread really reflected that. Congratulations Jacqueline, you win the Russell Hobbs Creations range!

Brian mitchell
goodtoknow user, Brian Mitchell made all this delicious party food for his daughter’s 4th birthday.
Brian said: ‘I made all the cupcakes myself, vanilla with white chocolate flavour buttercream and chocolate and turkish delight buttercream. My kids made the chocolate crispie cakes. I also made my daughter’s princess carriage cake, this again is vanilla sponge with buttercream and jam filling, yum.’
It’s a party spread fit for a princess!

goodtoknow user Angie Davidson made this unique travelling cake filled with a fresh raspberry buttercream for her friend’s daughter who was going to Australia.
Angie said: ‘I really enjoyed putting all the little extra details on and even pressed a flower design into the flip flops to make them look authentic! When I showed my friend she couldn’t speak and burst into tears so all the effort was worth it – her daughter was also thrilled with the cake.’
We can’t work out what we’re more jealous of Angie, the trip to Australia, or tasting this spectacular cake!

goodtoknow user Andrew Parker made these splendid desserts for his 21st birthday lunch. Andrew made this strawberry, amaretti and white chocolate trifle (recipe adapted from Lorraine Pascale), and strawberries and cream macaroons.
Andrew said: ‘I served these with the coffee after lunch. I hope you like them (everyone at the party did!)’

We think these are the cutest cakes we’ve ever seen. We love how they come with some extra sweet treats on the side, and the pink little bears are a lovely feature.

We’re so impressed with the way she’s carved the water melon into a pram – and all the little details like the orange slice wheels and even the doll inside. It almost looks to good to eat… on second thoughts, it looks too delicious to resist. What a great way to get the kids eating healthily.

goodtoknow user Bea Swiatkowska has been busy this summer. Not only has she been cooking all this lovely grub but she’s been caring for the 95-year-old lady who taught her how to cook too.
Here’s what Bea made: Vichyssoise, teriyaki chicken, rice and sugarsnap peas, sweet potato wedges and creamy pecorino and basil dip, bacon and veggie pasta bake, meatballs in spicy tomato sauce and linguine pasta, vanilla cupcakes, French apple tart, rhubarb fool, figs with honey, creamy banana and peach smoothie. Wow!

goodtoknow user Samantha Lively made these cakes and more for her cousin’s 14th birthday. We love way she’s used the plastic ice cream holders to present her tasty treats, and the toppings on those cupcakes look divine.
