Prince William and Kate Middleton spent Saturday night at the cinema watching new comedy Bridesmaids.
The new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge headed to Llandudno Junction - 40 miles from their home in Anglesey - and shared a bag of popcorn during the film.
'Prince William and Kate Middleton saw Bridesmaids at Cineworld Llandudno this w'end,' the cinema confirmed on Twitter.
It seems Wills and Kate - who wore jeans and a cardigan - were making up for their disappointing flight home from America, when the British Airways in-flight entertainment failed in their £5,000 first class seats.
The pair, both 29, missed out on a choice of Hollywood blockbusters including Angelina Jolie's The Tourist, Christian Bale's The Fighter and the Elton John cartoon Gnomeo & Juliet.
'Unfortunately there was a fault with some parts of the aircraft's in-flight entertainment system that couldn't be fixed before the aircraft took off from LA,' says a BA spokesman.
'We apologise to everyone affected and have offered customers a voucher or frequent flyer miles to say sorry.'
