The X Factor judges will have to each choose one of their own acts to send home in a shock twist for the show this weekend.
This means there will be no public vote and instead Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh will be responsible for axing a quarter of the final 16.
'We want you to put your best foot forward, make the decision hard for us and let us know why you need to stay,' Kelly, 30, has told her girls.
Kitty Brucknell, 26, and Frankie Cocozza, 18, were apparently particularly upset when they were told yesterday, fearing they'd be sent home immediately.
'This is The X Factor stage - it's one thing singing by the pool but it all changes here,' says Gary, 40.
'This is where stars are born, like Leona Lewis. It's all going to feel very different on Saturday.'
The live finals kick off tomorrow at 7.30pm on ITV1.
