Im 14 and i started my periods when i was 12 (last january) and ive been getting them quite regular but ive missed august's period ?and i dont know why is there something wrong ? but i have been getting stomach pains over the last week or so and ive been sort of worried about school Please help me !

Hello : ) I am 19 and am not in a relastionship with anyone, I have never been on the pill because I have never been in a serious relastionship. I started a job and moved out of home this year and since then my periods have been completely irregular. I can't even remember my due date but I can go at least two months and not have one. I really hate it cos my belly is bloated all the time, I have headaches and tummy ache and hot flushes but just no period. I don't know what to do! I want to feel normal again. any tips?

hi, im 22 and i started my periods when i was 11 the have been every 28 days since then. at christmas i was a week early, january i was something like 21 days late, feb i was on time march 8 days late april i was 11 days late and this month i was 8 days late and when i did come on it only last 1 and a 1/2 days. i feel like i have permanant pmt and want to scream at everyone all the time my belly feels so bloated and i feel like i have dull period pain all the time. i have done millions of pregnance test and they all say negitive. any ideas? tell me im no going mad lol x

Hi all just been reading some of the comments on here, well im in a rut. Im nearly 26 and still have not started my period, i had a very slight show beginnen of last year (2007) and nothing since, I have been registered with a specialist at the hospital since i was 16 and i am on tablets similar to Femeston which is a hormone tablet, these dont seem to be worken, i have a very small chest which to say the least gets me down. Anyway what i want to no is there any1 else who has gone through this? any advice will be very helpful also can i still get pregnant? me and my boyfriend want kids in the future but i dont no if i will be able to... well the thing is as u said every1 starts and its not so bad, yes ur goin on holiday n im afraid that the only (clean) way to go swimming if u r on is to use a tampon, i wouldnt advise u go to the doctors about the contraceptive pill but it is an option (you can keep taking the pill so u dont come on)... n u may not even come on when ur on holiday and most people when they get their first period are iregula anyways i was n im sure most women were. tampons are not that bad i dont used them but i do and if i want to swim or go 2 the beach its clean n u dont have to worry just make sure that the tamopn u use is the rite size for ur flow e.g. (Always Tampons) lite flow (usually purple) medium (yellow) and heavy (green) packaging. you can always talk to your mum about these things or maybe an older sister or friend. hope i was sum sort of help, i no its scary but u have to remember not everone is the same and everyone has differant periods. x

i went on the pill at 12 nearly 13 because of the same problem your daughter is facing, maybe take her to the doctor will help and see what they say (they may put her on the pill) also have you tried talking to her about how she is feeling, and that every woman goes through it? dose she know why she has a period? and know that its a good thing?

My 11 year old started her period 3 months ago and is SOO emotional 'at that time of the month'. She cries all the time, and can't cope with the stresses she is facing with schoolwork. She bursts into tears at the drop of a hat and her male teacher does not recognize what is going on and thinks she has some deep rooted emotional turmoil at home that needs to be addressed. I've been flip flopping from telling her not to cry in class ( i remember doing the same thing and the kids teased me for being a suck) to telling her it's all normal, she is experiencing pms and she will over time learn how to deal with her out of control emotions. Right now she is on her bed crying hugging her hampster and feeling like the world is against her. Is there ANYTHING I can do to help her get a handle on the tear-flow?????? Why don't I know this, for god-sakes I'm a woman too.

iv been off the pill now for a year and not become pregnant and i am worried i wont ever fall. i had a miscarrage last year on the 31st of january( i fell pregnant whilst on the pill after missing 2,so obviously stopped taking it when i found out i was pregnant)...my partner and i have spoken about this theory and hes been really supportive but im just not sure who to go to about it. if theres any advice you can give then please contact me thank you

Hi all, i can answer some of your questions - Ashley - don't worry, it can take years for your periods to calm down and be regular, i started when i was 12 and was nearly 16 before they became regular. Aliyah - I can't tell you whether you are pregnant or not, you can tell up to 5 days before you are due on with clearblue pregnancy test, you do the test with the first urine of the day, If you are having regular sex with this guy, maybe you should consider using the pill. Beth - You're periods probably aren't regulae yet, what i will tell you is that you should never insert an tampon before you have started bleeding babe, it can be very dangerous. Charlotte - I would suggest if you still haven't started, to take a pregnancy test and if it is positive then to go and see your GP Aine - i'm afraid the only way you can swim on your period is with a tampon in - don't worry, they are really comfy and you feel much cleaner Kelly - I would say you need to go and see your GP for advice - i do know that birth in general can mess your periods up but having a c section shouldn't stop you from having more children.

please help i was having normal periods and fell pregnant and had a baby 3 years ago. i had a cesarean after that my pe4riods were ok for 4 months then they dissapeared i didnt have one for eight months. i had all test and scans and they came bk normal so the doctor gave me a tablet and said i shoould bleed in 6 days i did and my periods came again for about six months and now they have dissapeared again for five months i am 25 years old and am six stone over weight. can i still have children? do i need to go bk to the hospital? will they ever come bk. every time i read what the reasons are for this happening it says underweight strees well im none of those i dont think.do you think the doctor has missed something i had blood tests and scans the first time it was happening?

first of all i can actually help most of you, i've pretty much been through it all. First emma, its pretty much impossible to go swimming while your on your period so just stay outta the pool i'm afraid, second charlotte, at your age your periods are all over the place, if you've never had sex you have nothing to worry about the question from me, well as i said to charlotte if you've never had sex you have nothing to worry about and no theres no way of bringing on a period. kitty, everyone starts their period at their bodys rate, so let mother nature take its course. karen, theres never a 100% way of checking that a condom doesn't have a hole in, he may check after sex but it could b the smallest hole that you cant notice but that doesn't nessisarely mean that your pregnant it is more common to get pregnant after you've been pregnant before but late periods are also often caused from stress

I was taking my pill as normal and had my 7 day break which in that time i had my period! then i after my 7 day break i started taking my pill again, after 3 days of taking my pill, my period came back and since then it hasn't gone!
