Coping with cardiomyopathy

Coping with cardiomyopathy
Average rating: 3 out of 5 star rating

My eldest brother has cardiomyopathy and was told by his doctor to cut down on his salt intake as it helps lower blood pressure. He adds salt to his meals before he'd even tasted them to see if they need salt. Now he tastes everything first and rarely adds more, which I reckon has halved his salt intake.

When I was told I had heart disease, I knew I'd have to get my cholesterol under control. Benecol Spreads are fantastic as they taste like other margarines and help lower your cholesterol. A big tub costs £3.99.
