Treating fungal nail infection

My husband had a fungal infection in his big toenail. To prevent it spreading I made him a foot soak of half a bowl of apple cider vinegar as it's acidity fights the fungus and half of water and told him to soak his feet for 10 minutes. We did this every day for a fortnight and soon the fungal nail infection was gone.
