Coping with leukaemia
If you've had chemotherapy for leukaemia, it's likely that you'll be anaemic which causes tiredness, headaches and chest pains. You should try and eat plenty of iron-rich food such as red meat and spinach to replace lost iron and your overall health should improve.

My nine year old daughter, who's got leukaemia, was really upset when her hair started thinning after chemo. Her nurse suggested we use a really gentle shampoo to slow the hair loss. Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo (500ml, £2.60, www.boots.com) seems to be helping.
