Avoid getting MRSA
Since I had MRSA two years, I'll do anything to avoid getting it again. Now I use a bodywash called Hibiscrub every time I have a hospital appointment. It contains 4% hospital-strength cleanser. Hibiscrub, £7.99 for 250ml from chemists including Boots.

Rub a natural antibacterial gel, like tea tree oil, into your hands regularly to fight off bacterial infections such as MRSA.

Last year I underwent open heart surgery and gathered together products to protect myself from MRSA and C.difficile. Normal antibacterial products have no effect against C.diffilce spores but I tracked down a surface and toilet spray and wipes which are very safe and form a film which protects against both bugs. It also provides lasting protection to the surface. So that others would not have to reinvent the wheel I bought in supplies and can sell them on to anyone going into hospital. Am happy to chat to anyone who would like reassurance. Have a sfae hospital stay.
