Coping with neuralgia

Coping with neuralgia
Average rating: 4 out of 5 star rating

I don't like popping pills, so when someone suggested a natural remedy for neuralgia, I was all ears. Add 20 drops each of clove and lavender essential oil to 50ml of St John's Wort Oil (100ml for £6.50 from www.yourhealthfoodstore.co.uk) and apply to the painful area. It really works.

My doctor advised me to start keeping a food diary to see if any foods triggered my neuralgia and sure enough, I noticed caffeine, nuts and chocolate brought it on. I was also advised to eat oats, which are high in B vitamins, which help strengthen the nervous system. Now I have them for breakfast every morning.
