Treating heat rash and sunburn
Aloe vera is great for heat rash and sunburn. Just buy it as a gel, like Soltan Aloe Vera Aftersun Gel £6.69 from Boots. If you keep it in the fridge it's even more effective.

Cover any areas affected by heat rash with cornflour. It absorbs sweat and moisture which causes the rash.

If you get burnt, then cut a tomato in half and rub the red area. Apparently, there's something in tomatoes that helps to relieve redness and it should make a difference. I was taught it more than 20 years ago on holiday in Menorca and I swear by it, if I ever get caught out.

I used to suffer alot with prickly heat which would spoil my holidays. I was recommended by a friend to take Vitamin E so now I take one Vitamin E tablet every day and no longer suffer from prickly heat and vitamin E is good for you anyway. This was over 10 years ago and it lets me enjoy my hols.
