When I get boils I use TCP Liquid Antiseptic on them. It helps with the pain but also kills the infection. It's £2.89 for a big bottle.
Pippa Dunning, 44, Wishaw, North Lanarkshire

I had a painful boil while I was staying with my cousin. She went straight into the kitchen and mashed up an onion and then covered my boil with the mash. She told me it helps ripen them, break them, and drain out the pus. And you know what? It worked.
