How to treat ringworm

How to treat ringworm
Average rating: 4 out of 5 star rating

Ringworm patches can be itchy and painful at the same time. When I was abroad in high humidity I picked up ringworm, but I couldn't get to a chemist as I was somewhere remote. Our tour guide suggested rubbing fresh garlic on the sores a few times a day as it has antibacterial and antifungal properties. It worked a treat.

We find Lamisil AT cream works best for ringworm. It's prescription strength and really easy to use. (Lamisil AT 1% gel, £5.99 from www.expresschemist.co.uk).
