How to treat bronchitis

How to treat bronchitis
Average rating: 4 out of 5 star rating

There are loads of cough medicines on the market, but the one that sticks in my head (and not just because of the advert) is Covonia Bronchial Balsam as it's really good for bronchitis. I hate the taste, but it's the best for getting rid of hacking coughs. It costs £3.29.
Dominique Grimshaw, 57, Caterham, Surrey

My brother had bronchitis a lot as a child and my nan used to give him onion juice to help him get better quicker. She told me that onions liquefy, loosen phlegm and stop more from forming. One teaspoon of raw onion juice in the morning should help with bronchitis.

as s frequent victim to several bouts of "winter"brochitis I have found that sleeping with an opened raw onion (or two) relieves the symptoms so your contributer from Oldham surely has an even better suggestion. I will certainly try the liquid potion from to-day ( and cure in time for Christmas !!!) Many thanks
