If you've sprained your ankle, try adding a tablespoon of mustard powder to a foot bath. It'll help soothe the sprain.
Leanne Fitzpatrick, Redruth, Cornwall

When I sprained my ankle I couldn't even hobble to the shop, so I went online and bought a cooling spray. It lasts longer than an ice pack and really helped. The one I bought was Vulkan Cooling Freeze Spray, £4.50 for 150ml at www.firstaid4sport.co.uk.
