How to deal with a stroke
When my husband had a stroke, his physiotherapist gave us some Eggsercizers to take home. They're different coloured squashy eggs that you squeeze to build up the strength in your hands and arms. Tony started with orange, which is extra soft and now he's on purple for firm. They're £4.95 from www.physiocaresupplies.co.uk.

My husband was going into his shell a bit after his stroke, but a chance meeting with a stroke victim he used to know in the supermarket helped him a lot. He now no longer pushes people away and tries to talk to most people, and doesn't avoid social groups. I'm so happy as I was afraid he would become isolated.

Why cant they find a medication that will prevent this happening. He is a none smoker not over weight. He has been a very hard worker but had to retire Eight years ago due to his problems, he worked twelve hours a day Six days a week most of his life could this be the cause of all his problems. Please could you give me a little sign there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
