Why Kylie helped breast cancer sufferers
'Media coverage surrounding Kylie Minogue's diagnosis was important in raising awareness of breast cancer and the need to be breast aware, by knowing how your breasts normally look and feel and reporting any changes. Breast cancer does occur in younger women, but it's important to remember that 80 per cent of cases occur in people over the age of 50. Age remains the biggest risk factor for the disease.'
