Stomach (Gastric) Cancer

Stomach (Gastric) Cancer
Average rating: 3 out of 5 star rating

goodtoknow says: Stomach cancer is not a common cancer in the UK and, if it is diagnosed early, there is a good chance of a cure. This is sometimes known as gastric cancer. Most cases occur in people over the age of 45 and it's more common in men than in women. In general, the more advanced the cancer is the less chance that it can be cured. However, treatment can often slow the progress of the cancer and advances have been made in countries like Japan, where it's more common.
