Get air into your home to beat asthma
Poorly ventilated homes are known to result in an increased exposure to house-dust mites and mould spores, both of which are asthma triggers that thrive in a damp environment.
Research has shown that asthma symptoms are harder to control in people who live in homes without central heating. Therefore, if you have asthma, you should be aware that turning your central heating down will not improve the control of asthma symptoms but keeping your house dry and well ventilated could help combat these asthma triggers.
