Pre-menstrual headaches
Headaches can sometimes be associated with the pre-menstrual part of the cycle and can be associated with hormonal variations in the body. During this part of the cycle there is fluid retention, there are a number of other physical changes that take place that can contribute towards headaches and would therefore need to be checked by a doctor before considering that they are normal or can be accepted without needing any further treatment or investigation.

I have had Headaches for years, been to the Dr.s many times, had x-rays /scans, still dont tell whats causeing the Headaches. The thing is i only get them at night times, i manage to go to sleep, then 2 or 3hrs later i`m woken up with these wicked Headaches. I take pain killers perscribed by the Dr. Of course no further sleep. This is very frequent. I`m 65yrs of age. Can you help me with this problem? William Hollister
