Be kind to yourself and you'll beat your phobia
Be kind to yourself and coping with a phobia will be easier. Praise yourself, acknowledge each small step you make. When things don't go as planned, people often beat themselves up. They almost think they can punish themselves into doing it better next time. This doesn't work. You wouldn't do this to someone you care for, like a friend or child, so don't do it to yourself. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt.
