Scrape your tongue

Bacteria builds up on your tongue in the same way that it does your teeth and yet few of us consider doing anything to our tongue.

If you could look at your tongue under a microscope, you'd see it's very rough and has lots of places for bacteria to settle.

By going over your tongue with a special scraper or with your brush, you are clearing off much of the bacteria and reducing the chance of disease.

And if that's not enough motivation to start, there's also evidence to show that scraping or brushing your tongue stops bad breath.
