Lack of sleep makes women more ill than men
If you snap at your fella today or feel more irritated than usual, then it could be down to not getting enough sleep.
New research suggests that women need more sleep than men and feel a lot worse both mentally and physically if they have to go without it.
What's more, a lack of sleep can lead to increased health problems for women: a higher risk of heart disease, depression and other mental health problems.
And women who find it difficult to drop off or have very disturbed sleep have higher levels in their blood of a substance that is linked to Type 2 diabetes.
However, there's better news for people suffering from the sleep disorder sleep apnoea.
A health watchdog has approved a special 'snoring mask' on the NHS that will help patients breathe more easily.
Sleep apnoea affects 1 in 100 people and causes irregular breathing at night, meaning sufferers snore more, have disrupted sleep and are more dozy during the day.
