Hay fever is part of the summer many of us dread, and for many of us it gets worse every year.
Although the name hay fever seems to indicate that living near fields and trees is worse, new research shows that you are far more likely to suffer from hay fever in a city as you are in the countryside.
In fact, many of us don't realise that diesel exhaust particles are the cause of many city and town-dwellers' hay fever pain.
