Fights cancer

Cancer kills more than 120,000 people in the UK every year, with another 200,000 developing it. Certain studies have shown that drinking tea every day can play a role in warding off certain types of cancer.
- Some studies indicate that risk of prostate cancer is reduced if you drink 6 cups of green tea each day.
- Oral cancer is lower among those people who regularly sup a cup.
- A study of the effects of green tea showed that it helped patients with leukaemia
- A number of studies have shown a link between drinking tea and a reduced risk of breast cancer. Green tea seems to have a better effect than black tea, but both work.
