Our sleep patterns are getting worse and for many 21st-century living is the cause of poor sleep and insomnia.
Only 3% of us suffer from extreme insomnia, but a much higher and increasing number - 69% - suffer from tiredness and minor exhaustion.
New research from sleep expert Dr Neil Stanley and Horlicks has identified a new sleep problem - semisomnia.
Semisomnia is basically the inability to get a good, proper night's sleep and Neil Stanley puts it down to our modern lifestyle and pressures and strains that go along with it.
