This may sound obvious, but sleep is vital for the health of our body, mind and emotions.

However, many people look at sleep as an irritation, something that gets in the way of life and something that can be ignored. However, in terms of health, sleep is just as important as exercise and good diet.

If you regularly miss out on sleep, you are more likely to:

- Perform badly at work
- Be grumpy, sullen or angry - suffer from mood wings
