'8,000 dust mites in my daughter's duvet'
'Our duvets have been analysed and I was horrified by the results. There was 15g of mite faeces and skin scales in my duvet, 8,000 live house dust mites in Chloe's, who's 4 and over 25,000 in mine.
They also found fungal spores, bacteria and even cat allergen - even though our cats were re-homed two years ago. I suffer with hay fever and asthma, while Chloe, has eczema, skin allergies and hay fever.
We've now got new duvets and Chloe's eczema - which I was shocked to find out can be made worse by bacteria in the duvet - has been easier to control. And my asthma has improved dramatically. From now on I'm getting our duvets washed every three months. It's worth the extra cost. I never dreamt a clean duvet could make such a difference to our health.'

How do you clean a feather duvet? The dry cleaners wont take them, and at about £100 to replace I can't afford to throw it out.
