Bacterial vaginosis is twice as common as thrush and will affect 1 in 3 women in their lives, yet most women don't know anything about it

Only 5% of women would put vaginal health at the top of their list of health worries, according to a new survey, and half admit they don't know anything about it.

Experts believe that as many as 1 in 3 women will suffer from bacterial vaginosis in their lives - yet women's intimate problems are still seen as an embarrassing subject by many.

In this video, Dr Dawn Harper from TV's Embarrassing Illnesses has all the answers and advice for women who are affected.
