Ask Doctor Chris: Fainting and erectile dysfunction
Every week we partner up with our sister magazine, Woman, to bring you expert health advice from This Morning's Dr Chris Steele MBE, health journalist of the year. This week he answers your questions about dark circles under the eyes and piles.
The problem: 'Why is she fainting?'
My 12-year-old daughter has fainted a few times recently. She's never done this before, she eats healthily and I haven't noticed any other symptoms. What should we do?
The solution
Fainting has many causes, such as anxiety, standing for too long, low blood sugar (possibly due to long intervals between meals), anaemia, low blood pressure, or irregular heartbeat. It can even be a symptom of a type of epilepsy. If she has no other symptoms that's a good sign but it's still worth taking her to the doctor.
The problem: 'Our sex life is suffering'
This is a bit embarrassing. My partner's been suffering from erectile dysfunction, which is causing problems with our sex life, but he won't discuss it.
The solution:
If this only happens occasionally, don't worry - but if it becomes persistent then it may be due to smoking, heavy drinking, diabetes or certain medications for depression or blood pressure.
If he has erections in the morning, without stimulation, the problem could be more psychological. Encourage him to talk to his GP about it.

IMPOTENCE- Having spent many hours surfing the internet looking for a solution I am so happy to have found Butea Superba. Little is known about this miracle herb in the West, but in the Far East it is used so widely that the Government have had to take control of the distribution and it can now only be grown under license. The pill version now available here is called HealthyED and is a clinically proven product, improving the erectile performance of over 80% of all those who take it. All the details are at www.healthyed.co.uk. It has greatly improved both mine and my partners sex life and equally importantly our relationship.
