Tributes for brave Jade Goody
After Jade Goody passed, tributes came pouring in from celebrities, government ministers, Jade's friends and family and members of the public. Read the comments here and leave your own message for Jade.
Jade's family
Jade's mum, Jackiey Budden: 'My beautiful daughter is at peace. Family and friends would like privacy at last.'
Jade's grandfather John Caddock: 'I'm so devastated. It's beyond words. She's gone and part of me has gone too. I'm trying to think positive thoughts of all the good times we spent together but I hope she is happy wherever she is. I love her very much.'
Jade's brother Brett Luckens: 'I can't believe she's gone. I'm just devastated. I can't begin to imagine what Jackiey is going through and I will do whatever I can to support her and the family.'

Jeff Brazier: 'I am devastated to learn that Jade has sadly left us on Mother's Day. I am grateful the boys were able to say their goodbyes and spend that precious time with their wonderful mother. Bobby and Freddie are my absolute priority now. I will be doing everything I can to be their rock and to give them all the love and support they need to get them through a confusing and upsetting time.'
Simon Cowell: 'I'm really saddened by this news. My heart goes out to the family. Jack's coped incredibly well these past weeks.'
Davina McCall: 'You can never prepare yourself to lose your baby before you, so I feel very sorry for Jackiey.'
Shilpa Shetty: 'I am deeply saddened, but I am glad Jade is out of pain and that she died peacefully with her family round her.'

Prince Azim, the son of the Sultan of Brunei, who formed an unlikely friendship with Jade in 2007: 'Jade was a warm and lovely lady. My condolences to Jack and her family.'
Danielle Lloyd, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother with Jade: 'She was a brave and courageous human being. Rest in peace, Jade, you have touched the hearts of millions.'
Cleo Rocos, who also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother: 'She lived every second to its fullest exploding point, she wasn't phoney, she never put up a pretence. She was Jade Goody - like it or lump it, that was her.'
Government ministers
Gordon Brown: 'I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Jade Goody's death. She was a courageous woman both in life and death and the whole country have admired her determination to provide a bright future for her children.Her family can be extremely proud of the work she has done to raise awareness of cervical cancer which will benefit thousands of women across the UK.'
David Cameron: 'I was very sorry to hear the sad news about Jade. Her brave fight has raised awareness of this terrible disease and her legacy will be to save the lives of more young women in the future. My thoughts are with her family and particularly her two young sons at this terrible time.'
Simon Hughes, MP for North Southwark and Bermondsey in south London (where Jade grew up): 'Jade Goody was a Bermondsey girl who went from public ridicule and public rebukes to public respect and public sympathy.'

I did not like Jade but she did not deserve to be so ill. I do admire the way she handled her illness with dignity. God bless her family particularly her little boys she was a wonderful mother and did everything possible to secure their future. May she rest in peace now, I came to admire her in her final weeks of life and was sorry to hear of her terminal illness. Lets hope that things will change now so that young women needing smears get the treatment they deserve. My thoughts are with her family at this sad time.

i have only just been able to leave a message cos when ever i hear or see anything about jade i have burst out crying, although i never knew her (i think alot of people will agree with me on this) i followed her career litraley from day one of the BB house, and loved her to bits, my sides used to hurt from laughing @ her 4 being an absolute natural raw comedian, i never once agreed with the papers about the so called race row, as i knew it just was not in her bones to be that sort of person (plus the fact her Dad was of mixed race,) she made me smile when i saw her in the papers i have read all her books (just ordered the last ever which i will cherish), my love prayers and thoughts goes out to Jack, Jackiey freddy, bobby and Jeff, (people seem to have forgotten how he must be feeling) JADE U ARE NOW OUT OF PAIN AND MISERY, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN YOUR NAME WILL 4EVA BE IN THE SKY AS THE BRIGHTEST STAR AT NGHT HAS YOUR NAME ON IT, LOOK DOWN ON YOUR BOYS AND FAMILY AND KEEP THEM SAFE, Jack stick your fingers up to those who said u didnt love Jade, cos trust me there are more people that believe u do love her, that the sad no bodies who had nowt better to do with their time other that write crap. jackiey although there was a time u may not have been the perfect mum (who is 100% tho!!!!!) i feel that jade knows you well and truelly made up for that in the last few years, u can tell how much she loves u, and as for those handsome young boys freddy and bobby, keep your mums smile and smile every day just like your mummy did. love to all the Goody, Tweed and brazier family.i dont want to say i miss jade yet as i am still seeing her happy smiling face in mags, papers and T.V, i will be keeping the mags i have bought over the last 4 mnths so i can look at her pictures of her smiling if i am feeling down.
