Men's health: Sexual health
Sexual problems are common and range from problems conceiving to infections.
Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs or STIs) can affect anyone who has had sex. The most common include chlamydia, genital warts, genital herpes and gonorrhoea. Some have few or no symptoms so will only be found if you go for an STI test. Most can be prevented by using a condom.
Impotence is when a man can't maintain an erection. It's often caused by stress, alcohol or tiredness and is just a one time thing, but sometimes an underlying health problem, such as diabetes or high blood pressure, could be the cause.
