Spots can affect anybody - not just teenagers. We're all used to the image of a spotty teen battling with acne, but the truth is that adults suffer just as much.

What's less well-known is that adults don't like to talk about their spots and are too nervous to treat their problem.

Dr Catherine Hood is an expert in problem skin and in this video she talks about the causes of spots and how to treat them, explaining the difference between licensed treatments and cosmetic products, which claim to be able to help.
