Anxiety disorders
goodtoknow says: Everyone gets anxious when they're under stress. Classic symptoms of anxiety include palpitations, sweating and a dry mouth. They're unpleasant but nothing to worry about. However, if you experience anxiety attacks regularly in your day to day life for no apparent reason, it's probably time you asked for help. Anxiety disorders are better understood now than ever before with around 1 in 20 people experiencing them, so there's no need to feel embarrassed. Treatments range from talking therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to anti-depressants and beta blockers. See your GP.
