Dr Chris Steele, GP and resident doctor on ITV1's This Morning, on bulimia

'All patients with eating disorders need help and understanding. The patient needs to be assessed by a psychologist or psychiatrist, and then given care and guidance to bring them back to a normal, healthy "non-weight gaining" diet and lifestyle. The prescription drug fluoxetine can help control bulimia. After treatment, 70 to 80 per cent of bulimics will reduce or stop bingeing.'

Hi there i am emailing you concerning a skin condition i have. I am 28 years of ages and i have these red bumps and purple boils that are around both breasts and also have them on my bottom and just inside my bottom, also they appear in between my legs as well. The ones on my bottom grow that big that sometimes it's painful when i am sitting down and when they do burst there is some blood.Been like this from 16 years of age and been to my own doctor loads of times and all i get is tablets, lotion and pills but they do not work.I don't know if it's because i am to clean as i have two showers a day. Please could you give me some advice as this condition is starting to get me down. Thanks
