The hay fever season lasts from around March to July, but experts say that the season is starting earlier and more people are suffering from hay fever. 2. Ginger

Some people have found that ginger can reduce inflammation of the sinuses but there's not much scientific evidence to back this up.
James says: 'Some people may find it useful but I'm not aware of any scientific studies to back this up. Speak to your pharmacist if you've got hay fever symptoms for their advice.'
