Flu

One of the most common ailments in the winter months, we all dread getting flu because it really knocks you out, and can leave you bedridden for a week. You'll know if you have it, but fever, aches and pains are the most common symptoms. What can I do? Eat well, sleep more and get vaccinated! The jab protects against most strains of influenza and lasts one year. If you think it could be swine flu, check your symptoms here, and contact the National Pandemic Flu Service on 0800 1 513 513 or www.direct.gov.uk immediately.
