I completely agree and stated this recently on the site for "woman" magazine. Magazines these days seem to get into a circle of the same people on the covers week after week. Short term this may work, but it doesnt entice the next generation into the mag. Why would a 20 something be interested in a magazine with the likes of richard and judy on the cover? Surely thats better for "womans weekly" magazine? maybe i have it wrong, but the covers need freshening up!!!

As much as I enjoy reading The magazine and I feel its not the same as it used to be, because all we get is Richard and Judy, Loose Women and Fern Britton, It would be nice to have someone different on the cover one day, as for that no other comments.

Hi i enjoy reading your magazine ..but i had to comment on a piece i saw inthis weeks magazine...the article was Get back in your Jeans..as an overweight person myself i do follow with interest any articles regarding losing weight..however youre article was 'they did it and so can you' and you featured Fern Britton..has everyone forgotten she has had a Gastric band fitted which has helped her more than just changing her diet..if i had a gastric band im sure i could get back in my jeans as well ...

When I was 17 my mum wrote into the problem page in Woman's Own about what an awful teenager I was, along with a horrific photo...you can imagine the humiliation at that time! I threw away any copy I could get my hands on. I am now 29 and would love a copy of that edition. Where do I need to look? Is it even possible?

Dear Woman's own, I am 52 years old and have a subscription of your magazine in Germany via International Press. In the seventies, I got known to Ann and Bob Brown, daughter Sharon and another lovely daughter. Ann knit me a wonderful red cardigan. They lived in Luton. They invited me and one evening we went to Ceasar's Palace to see "Dana". Unfortunately, contact lost over the years. Maybe someone can help me? Thanks a lot, Kathrin

Please can someone help me. I was in hospital between 29/06/2010 and 07/07/2010 and bought several magazines. I was sure I saw in Womans Own, a diet that included carbs for 5 days and no carbs for 2.It suited me down to the ground but when I left hospital my husband left my mags behind. Does anyone recall this article ?and can i get a copy ?

Perhaps it is just me, but all this hype about our weight and how we look, seems to be boardering on the obessive. I look at some of our personalities and they are so thin they look ill. I fully appreciate that we need to curb obesity and look after ourselves better by eating sensibly. What we do not need is to see our favourite's looking gaunt and under nourished. This is very bad for the youngsters who can be under uneccessary preasure to look the same. I think our loose Women would be the roll models for our future generation at least they look healthy. Would Womans Own consider an on going series with them to get people on track ? They have a great following and many both male and femle would take notice

Like some of your other readers, I have also been trying to locate the whereabouts of how to purchase The Food Detective Test offer, that you advertised in your magazine 18th January. I have had no reply to my email and think its wrong to advertise if you cannot supply the details. Lynn

Hi, My partner and I were featured in your magazine (6th September 2004 - Calling out for love) I am pleased to let you know that we have made the test of time and are getting married this year in May, after 8 wonderful years together. We wondered if you would like to do a follow up story on us?

Hi Hoping you can help, but it is a bit of a long shot. I was wondering if you can purchase back dated copies of Womans Own and if you can trace back the particular issue Im interested in by an article? The reason Im asking is because I had an excellent reading done by your then physic Dennis Mc Kensie over four years ago, and Ive kept a copy of that issue ever since unfortuately the cupboard I was storing it in became very damp and my copy has been completely ruined. It would be very much appreciated if you can help Best Wishes Amanda Priestley

Hey, great to see next week's covers of Woman's Own & Woman tonight, before they hit the shops tomorrow, after my comments last week!! Hope this will continue! Now,regarding Y. Summers comments about Loose Women, well i love them! Especially Jane & Coleen. So i'm happy to see them on the cover anytime, and obviously you must sell more copies when you have L.W covers, otherwise you wouldn't have them! But i do agree there are other popular celebrities who could be on the front cover- just to see how they sell! For instance, Christine Bleakley or Amanda Holden. They are in the news a lot and would be a change from Fern Britton, lovely though she is! Having said that, i think it's great that you have 'older' women on your cover, like Fern & Judy Finnigan, unlike a lot of youth-obsessed women's mags nowadays! For example, it was brilliant to see 66 year-old Arlene Phillips on your cover a few weeks ago. I'm 34 by the way, incase anyone was wondering!! Hope you will consider my cover thoughts! Regards, Lisa

Many, MANY years ago (about 50) an illustrator called Robb (?) enchanted me with his depictions on story pages. Any chance these are available anywhere? Possibly in your archives? I long to see them again.

I would like to know why virtually every issue has articles on Loose Women. You seem to have forgotten they are many other popular personalities on TV that are more worthy of mention.

This is trivial, but why have you stopped showing a picture of the latest front cover until after it's already in the shops?! I used to love being able to see on the Monday evening, who was on the front cover of Woman's Own and Woman the next day. It made me look forward to going to the shop to buy them! But the last few weeks it's been Wednesday or Thursday when the latest issue appears. Like i said,it's trivial bit i just really wanted to know why? It is rather lazy of you!!

Hi , I write short articles based on real life events, that are more " fillers" than stories, and I was wondering how I could send them to you to see if they would be of any use? They tend to be quite humerous and I was hoping to cheer people up ! Thanks a million, Sharon
