I often get tender breasts around the time of my period and just used paracetamol until a friend recommended try magnesium supplements. She said they helped with water retention and mood swings too. I was sceptical, but I've definitely noticed a difference.

My breasts get sore when my period's due. My sister told me that if you stop drinking coffee it helps make them less sore. So I stopped drinking tea, coffee, Coke and even gave up chocolate as they all contain caffeine. It was hard to give them up, but worth it when I wasn't having to put up with a week of sore breasts any more.
