I don't have time to prepare dinners from scratch every night and so I invested in the Whirlpool Max 28AL Microwave Oven. It's £109 from www.johnlewis.com, looks like a small telly, but fits a lot inside. It defrosts joints of meat and can even fry eggs. I've got the silver version.
