I also cook in bulk and freeze in individual meals into bags. I make a beef and pork roast, when cooled down I slice meat and gravy into individual bags into freezer. Also a large pan of curry or beef casserole into meal size bags, all to be accompanied by potatoes, veg or rice later. Frozen smash with fresh veg, saves on daily cooking.

Except not everybody has a freezer, or room for one. Many singles these days are living in tiny studios. When I cook, I ensure I like the food enough to eat it for the next 3-4 days and I eat one portion then and put the rest in the fridge to be microwaved for the next 4-6 meals.
