Hot espresso ice cream with nuts

Turn your morning coffee into a delicious dessert that tastes great on its own or with scones and pastry dishes.

Ingredients
Swap the nuts for some chocolate flakes for a dinner party treat.
- 75g (3oz) Brazil nuts
- 4tbsp maple syrup
- 4 scoops premium vanilla ice cream
- 4 scoops premium coffee ice cream, such as Hill Station Dark Roast Coffee or Tesco Finest
- 225ml (8fl oz) hot, strong espresso coffee
Method
- Toast the Brazil nuts in a dry frying pan until golden brown.
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the maple syrup. Swirl the pan around so that the nuts are completely covered, then divide among four serving glasses or dessert bowls.
- Add a scoop of vanilla and a scoop of coffee ice cream to each glass or bowl, then pour over the hot espresso and serve immediately.
