Ingredients

Great served with freshly grated Parmesan and a sprinkling of chopped parsley.

  • 300g (11oz) pasta shapes
  • 200g (7oz) kale, shredded
  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 175g (6oz) onions, chopped
  • 250g (9oz) smoked back bacon, chopped
  • 1-2tsp mild chilli powder
  • 400g can chopped tomatoes with herbs

Method

  1. In separate pans, boil the pasta and kale for 10 minutes. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion, bacon and chilli powder for 5 mins. Add the tomatoes and cook for 1-2 mins.
  3. Stir in the kale and pasta and season to taste.
