Ingredients

This dish will work with any thinly sliced cuts of meat, so look out for bargain buys at the supermarket.

  • 1-2tbsp olive oil
  • 500g (1lb 2oz) frying steak, cut into strips
  • 350g packet Oriental stir-fry vegetables
  • 2 x 150g packets straight-to-wok noodles
  • 100ml (3½ fl oz) black bean sauce
  • 2tbsp chopped fresh coriander

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan, add the strips of steak in batches and cook until crisp and brown.
  2. Return all the meat to the wok and add the Oriental stir-fry vegetables and straight-to-wok noodles. Stir-fry for about 3 mins or until the noodles and vegetables are tender.
  3. Add the black bean sauce and cook for a further 2-3 mins.
  4. Spoon into four bowls and serve scattered with chopped coriander.
