Herby turkey burgers
Bored with beef? These quick-to-prepare turkey burgers make a great alternative - and a little sun-dried tomato purée makes them super-tasty.

Ingredients
Having a summer party? You can cook the burgers on a barbecue if you prefer.
- 500g pack turkey mince
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1tbsp sun-dried tomato purée
- 4tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 2tbsp chopped basil
- Toasted buns, salad leaves, onion rings and mayonnaise, to serve
Method
- Preheat the grill to medium. Combine all the ingredients, using half of the beaten egg. Season well and shape into four large burgers. If the mixture is dry, add more egg.
- Grill for 15 mins, turning every now and then, until cooked through and golden. Serve in toasted buns with lots of salad leaves, slices of onion and mayonnaise.
