Made with fresh beef, these kebabs are quick and easy to make- a summer barbecue essential.

Ingredients

  • 16 ready-made fresh beef meatballs
  • 1 onion, cut into small chunks
  • 15ml (1tbsp) olive oil
  • 10ml (2tsp) dried mixed herbs
  • 4 naan breads, warmed
  • Sliced tomatoes, chopped cucumber, salad leaves and tzatziki, to serve

Method

  1. Flatten each meatball slightly with the palm of your hand then thread on to 8 short metal skewers with the onion chunks. Mix together the oil and herbs and brush all over the kebabs.
  2. Cook under a medium preheated grill for 10-15 mins, turning frequently until browned and cooked through.
  3. Serve on the warmed naan breads with the tomatoes, cucumber, salad leaves and tzatziki.
