What's my recipe book?

We know what it's like when you're browsing a site with as many recipes as ours. You find a brilliant recipe, want to make it again, but can't remember how you found it!

But we've solved the problem. Now, by clicking 'Save this recipe' or 'I cooked this' on any of our recipes, they'll be saved and grouped into your personal online recipe book. All you have to do is log in with your Facebook account to see them. When you click either of these buttons it will also tell your friends on Facebook what you've been cooking or saving so they too can give our quick and easy recipes a go (but you can turn this off at any time by visiting your 'My recipe book' page). Leek and Parma Ham Cigars
Leek and Parma Ham Cigars
  • Makes: 16

These simple pastry bites are perfect for parties - adults and kids. Fill the filo pastry with baked leeks and thin ham to create the 'cigars'.

  • 1 sheet filo pastry, thawed
  • 1 leek, washed and trimmed
  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • 5 slices of parma or other ham, each cut into 3
  • Melted butter for brushing
  • Sesame seeds

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/gas 5.
  2. Cut leek into four lengthways, then cut each quarter into four, lay on baking sheet, drizzle lightly with oil and bake for 8-10 mins until just lightly cooked. Allow to cool.
  3. Fold pastry sheet into three across width to give 3 long strips, then cut each into 5 squares.
  4. Wrap a piece of ham around each leek length. Brushing each pastry square lightly with butter, place the wrapped leek diagonally across one square and roll up. Brush again and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  5. Repeat with all remaining ingredients and bake for 8-10 mins. Serve warm
